Welcome Wagon Only Needs
Some Newcomer To Roll To
Franklin's new "Welcome
Wagon" is ready to roll.
All that's needed now Is some
newcomer to roll to, according
to Sam Gibson, chairman of the
Jaycee project.
The idea behind the "Wel
come Wagon" Is to make new
comers feel at home. As new
families arrive they will be vis
ited by a Jaycee welcoming
committee and will be presented '
merchandising certificates with
the compliments of local mer
chants.
"All we need now is a new
comer,' 'Mr. Gibson said Mon
day, the official kick-off date
for the project.
Names of newcomers will be
obtained through the power
company and town office. The
service is only for those living
inside the town limits.
