More Than 1,500 Turn Out
At Federation Picnic Here
The annual Macon County
Farmers Federation picnic Satur
day drew more than 1,500 persons
to East Franklin School for talks
about farm problems and for en

Stressing quality production in
beef cattle by culling the herd
and using high quality sires.
Increasing milk production to
8,000 pounds per year per cow
through artificial breeding.
Mr. Fagg was introduced by fed
eration president James McClure
Clarke.
