IN WINSTON-SALEM ? Miss Holbrook Bride Of Herbert Hall Miss Eddis Holbrook, daughter of Mrs. James Holbrook, of Frank lin, and the late Mr. Holbrook, and Herbert Hall, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. 8. D. Hall, were mar ried Saturday, July 21, at the home of the bride's sister, Mrs. Hugh Burrell, In Winston-Salem. The Rev. W. E. Pettit, pastor of Ardmore Baptist Church, perform ed the double-ring ceremony before an Improvised altar decorated with lighted candles. Mrs. Roy Rickman, of Frank lin, the bride's niece, presented the wedding music. A reception followed the cere mony. The bride's table, covered with a lace cloth, held a wedding cake topped with a miniature bridal couple. Mrs. David Beck and Mrs. John Dayis assisted in serving. Following the reception, the couple left for a wedding trip. On their return they will be at home at 2312 Queen Street, Winston Salem. Mr. Hall is employed as supervisor by R. J. Miss Mildred Bates, to Pvt. Char les J. Rogers, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charley M. Rogers, of Franklin. The ceremony was performed July 26 at the home of the Rev. Robert W. Abrams, pastor of the First Baptist Church, in Sylva. Accompanying the couple to Sylva were Mr. and Mrs. Glenn R. Sutton. The bride is a graduate of Franklin High School, Class of 1955, and is now employed at Burlington Industries. The groom is a graduate of Franklin High School, Class of 1952, and is now serving with the U. S. Army, stationed at Fort Lewis, Wash. He will leave short ly for Alaska to complete his serv ice.
