C., Thursday, August 16, 1956 I KINGSBERYS CELEBRATE | WEDDING ANNIVERSARY Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Kingsbery held open house at their home on White Oak Street last Wednes day evening (August 81 on the occasion of their golden wedding anniversary. Receiving with Mr. and Mrs. Kingsbery were their daughter, Mrs. Emily K. Perrara, of New York City, and their granddaugh ter, Mrs. Edwin Benson, and Mr. Benson, of Fremont, Neb. Here to celebrate with his great grandparents was two-year old | Gregory Benson, whose birthday falls on the Kingsberys' wedding anniversary. Arrangements of gold and yel low flowers were used throughout the house. Mrs. Roy F. CunninR ham assisted in serving small cakes decorated in gold, gold1 punch and mints. I Miss Watts Is Bride Of Strauss Miss Minnie Elizabeth Watts, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Watts, of Franklin, Route 1, and Walter Rudolph Strauss, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Strauss of Palatine, 111., were married Sun day afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Jacobs. The Rev. Robert J Goldston, pastor of the West Macon Metho dist Circuit, performed the cere mony in the presence of only the immediate families and a few close friends. Mrs. Strauss attended Franklin High School and Mr. Strauss is j in the U. S. Navy, stationed at Norfolk, Va. Following the ceremony, the couple left for Illinois. Miss Mary Summer Engaged To Xorman Mr. and Mrs. O. F. Summer, of Highlands, have announced the ? engagement of their daughter.
