Conference. Methodist Camp At Wilson Lick Set July 22-26 The Macon County Methodist Rural Work Program will sponsor a "Christian Adventure Camp" July 22-26 at Wilson Lick. Sixteen intermediates from Ma con County Methodist churches will attend the camp. The following counselors will as sist: the Rev. and Mrs. Wilson Nesbitt. of Statesville. Mr. Nesbitt is secretary of the Conference Town and Country Commission. The Nesbitts will be accompanied by their children Virginia Dale, 14. and Larry. 12: William Mann, of South Carolina, a Duke Divinity School student and summer as sociate pastor of the Hishlands. Cashiers Charge: Miss Sue Jack son. of Elkin. a High Point College junior and summer rural work assistant in Macon County; Miss Mary Jo Young, of Bald Creek, a senior in Christian education at High Point College; Miss Mar garet Wilson, Macon County Meth odist rural worker; and Radford Picklesimer, of Highlands. Others who will give assistance during the week include Mrs. Gil mer Waldroop. Miss Betty Howard. Mrs. Paul Heafner, and Miss Jean Hemphill. Registration will be Monday from 3:30 to 4:30 p. m. and the camp will close Friday at 9:30 a. m. Tuesday night the Macon Coun ty Methodist Men will have their super meeting with the campers. Kingsbery attended the funeral of Mrs. E. Marvin Underwood, wife of Fed eral Judge Underwood, in Atlanta, Ga.. last Friday.
