The Franklin Garden Club will
hold Its regular meeting Monday
afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at the
Franklin Methodist Church.

Set For March Or

It has been announced that the
pre-school clinic for the Franklin
Elementary school will be held
the last of March or the first of
April. The exact date will be an

In preparation for this, all par
ents of children who will enter
the school next fall are urged to

Friday afternoon, January 31, at

Last Thursday and Monday of
this week were probably very sad
days for some of the Cullasaja
School children. Icy roads pre
vented the Goldmine bus from
making Its run on those days!
The Rev. Conard Barrett, of
the Cullasaja Assembly of God
Church, is teaching church his
tory, using the book "Christian
ity Through the Centuries", and
discussing church doctrine each
Sunday evening from 6:30 to 7:30.
The doctrine of a different denom
ination is used each Sunday night.
Any one interested in these pro
grams is invited to attend.

Last Sunday afternoon a group
of 12 or IS from Higdonville Bap
tist Church went to the home of
W. R. ("Uncle BUI") Hlgdon to
visit and sing hymns. Mr. Hlgdon
has not been able to go to church
lately, and the church group en
joyed going to him.

every first and third Sunday

stration Club met at the home of

presided. At the next meeting a
food demonstration will be given
