Methinks the males of this gen
eration have gone crazy.
That any self-respecting man
would be caught dead walking
in public in those Bermuda shorts
is beyond me.
Maybe my legs just aren't
pretty enough.
Or maybe I'm just a coward
when it comes to things like that.
(I even feel self conscious when
I wear my thin summer slacks.
Takes me a couple of days to get
used to the wind whistling through
'em).
Then again, maybe I keep re
calling how that fellow looked
in a pair of shorts up town a
couple of days back.
The hair on his toothpick-like
legs was black and wooly; and
his legs dropped out of the bot
tom of the shorts looking all th-;
world like two streams of spigot
water pouring out of a 16-foot
culvert.
Compounding this felony on
humanity were bow legs. A little
kid with an all-day sucker ran
between 'em ? and he didn't even
notice.
Well, it takes all kinds . . .
