Buecks Off To Chicago For Lion* Convention Mr. and Mrs. H. Bueck left Mon 1 day for Chicago to attend the In ternational Lions convention. MISS YOUNG WEDS TIPPETT Miss Edna Laverne Young be came the bride of Jimmy Rodger Tippett Monday, June 30, at 4 p. m. at the home of the Rev. Lee Crawford. The bride was attired in a dress of white lace over blue taffeta, with which she used white acces sories. Mr. Crawford performed the double-ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louin Young, of Franklin, Route 5, and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Tippett, of Watauga. Mr. Tippett is employed by Downs and Dowdle, and Mrs. Tip pett works at Franklin Hosiery Mill. They are living in the Ridge crest community.
