TJ. 8. Marine Corps, is spending
a 30-day leave here with his mo
ther, Mrs. O. D. Hedden. Jr. He
returned home last week, after
a 15-month tour of duty in the
Far East.
After completion of his leave,
he will be stationed at Buford.

ternational Lions convention. Mr.

the Buecks will go to the Cana
dian Rockies for a vacation. They
plan to return to Franklin July

Crawford.
The bride was attired in a dress
of white lace over blue taffeta,
with which she used white acces
sories.
Mr. Crawford performed the
double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Louin Young, of
Franklin, Route 5, and the groom
is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John
Tippett, of Watauga.
Mr. Tippett is employed by
Downs and Dowdle, and Mrs. Tip
pett works at Franklin Hosiery
Mill. They are living in the Ridge
crest community.
