MACONIAN Farmer-Miner Dies August 11; Rites Held At lotla Fred Lowe, farmer and miner of Franklin, Route 3. died August 11 at his home. He had been in declining health for four years. Funeral services for Mr. Lowe, a Macon County native, were held the 12th at the Xotla Baptist Church by the Rev. M. C. Wyatt, the Rev. Lee Mason, and the Rev. Paul Heafner. Burial was in the church cemetery. Son of Jesse and Mrs. Lattie Lindsey Lowe, he was born Sept. 19. 1891, He was a member of the Cowee Baptist Church and was married in 1917 to Miss Eva Hous tbn, who survives. Other survivors are four daugh ters, Mrs. Odell Hurst, of Frank lin. Route 4. Mrs. Ennis Mash burn. of Franklin. Mrs. Everett Roberson and Mrs. Roy Ramsey, both of Route 3: a brother, Floyd Lowe, of Tennessee; a sister. Mrs. Hattie Downs, of Franklin: and 15 grandchildren. Potts Funeral Home was in charge.
