THIS CLEVER CARTOON arrived last Thursday morning in
the mail in an unmarked envelope along with a couple of other
equally clever drawings. It obviously depicts an .aerial event dur
ing the recent "Pilots Ruby Rendezvous". However, J. P. Brady,
to whom it was addressed, emphatically denies that his airplane
resembles the one in the cartoon. "Mine does NOT have a polka
dotted patch on the left wing," he explained. Some sleuthing b
y THE PRESS staff revealed that the cartoonist is Roy Phillips, a
Maconian who now lives in Greensboro.
