MEETING IS CHANGED ? Airport Group Reelects Steve Bundy President The Macon County Airport As sociation held its annual stock holders meeting at the airport June 8. at which a board of directors and officers were elected and other business discussed. Elected to the board of directors were Prank L. Henry, Jr., Manson L Stiles, Dr. George R. McSween. Steve Bundy, Carl Tysinger, and ' Jack Hudson. D. and Grady Corbin drove to Asheville to purchase equipment for the Franklin All-Stars. While there, they attended the Asheville Tourists-Savannah ball game. Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Charles W. Henderson were Mr. and Mrs. Trumarv McNabb and family, and Mrs. Burton McNabb, of Murphy. Also visiting Mr. and Mrs. Henderson last week were Mr. and Mrs. Bill Mclntyre, of Marietta, Ga. Dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Williams Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Cash Buckner, of Ashe ville Mr. and Mrs. Jack Keeter and j baby, of Boone, spent the week end with Mr. and Mrs. Dewey j Corbin. On their return home they were accompanied by Miss Brenda Seagle. On a business trip to Knoxvllle, Tenn., Saturday were Dewey Cor bin and Frank Elliott. Returning to her home In Langley Field, Va., last Sunday was Miss Emogene Landrum, after a week's visit with her mother, Mrs. Ruth Landrum. While here she and her mother and other relatives toured Craggy Gardens, Mt. Mitchell, and other Interesting points.
