Many things? both good and bad? . have happened since 1 came here. I've seen good friends and neighbors come and go, others are still with me ? thank the good Lord. I don't know what I would do if it were not for the support of so many friends. Many whom I trusted as friends have proved otherwise, but, when you stay in the grocery busi ness, ybu learn who's who. Many of my friends, whom I had not met, have freen by this summer and told me how much they enjoy read ing my ad. I want to thank all of them again for their nice comments about my place. I appreciate construc tive criticism. There's one or two things j I'd like to get straight. One j Is that I don't work here and In a store In the. County scat. My brother works up there and I work here, and If we look alike ? I don't look like him ? he looks like me. I couldn't possibly look like him 'cause I was here first ? you just feel sorry for him. Another thing that bothers me ? I don't have everything people want. But when I get to thlnkin' right about it ? I don't have everything I want ? so why should you ex pect me to have everything you want? Seriously folks. I want to thank you again for your loyal support to the 'Ole Country Grocery, and hope | that all who read my ad will j drop by when you are by here and buy the buy of buys that I'm thinkin' of for this week end ? just to celebrate my 13 years here.
