TO SPONSOR CONTEST ? Garden Club Holds Yule Meeting At Bundy Home The Franklin Garden Club held its Christmas meeting Monday, at the home of Mrs. Steven Bundy. with Mrs. Robert Early and Mrs. T. D. Jones as co-hostesses. In keeping with the Christmas month, the Bundy house was decorated with red berried holly and many pretty and Interesting Christmas arrangements. A large <' green wreath with all kinds of fruits was hung at the front door. There were 23 members and six visitors present. The visitors were Mrs. Dick Jones, Mrs. Burt Slagle, Mrs. J. L. West, Mrs. W s. Men denhall. Mrs. W. T. Walker, and Mrs. W. B. McOuire. During the business session, it was decided to sponsor another home decorating contest and all homes In Franklin are invited to participate. There will be no material prizes, but the first three winners will get recognition bi the paper and, if possible, pictures will be made of the winning homes. The club will also e>ect a Madon na scene on Rankin Square. Mrs. E. S. Purdom gave a dem onstration on Christmas ideas. She showed two Christmas trees which she had made from tiny, green hemlock oonw and a little Jeweled tree made of sequins.
