Anderson, of Route 2, Franklin has recently been promoted to his present grade. Stationed at Hunter Air Force Base, Airman Anderson is assigned to the 2nd Field Maintenance Squadron as a Hydraulic repair man. Hunter Air Force Base is the home of the Strategic Air Com-: mand's 2nd Bomb Wing. His wing Is equipped with SAC's stratojet medium bombers and the KC-97 aerial refueling tankers. Airman Anderson entered the service in December 1957, and has been stationed at Hunter since May 1958. Prior to that time, he at tended Franklin High School, from which he was graduated in 1957.
