More people are realizing bene fits from central heat and need to know what type will suit their needs. Wiring was discussed be cause many homes have been wired for many years and cannot take care of all appliances being used today. Dress Revue Gates County Home Demonstra tion Club women featured many activities at their "Achievement Day" program held recently. A dress revue was presented, featuring garments made by club members during the past year. An attractive exhibit of craft items was on display. According to Miss Lydla Griffin, home economics agent, W. H. Skarron, principal of Sunbury , High School, gave an illustrated lecture on home life in Japan. He told about his recent trip to Japan, stressing the living con ditions and customs of the Jap anese people.
