The intermediates will present a play entitled "To Hear the Angels Sing.'f Club Works The Watauga Home Demon stration Club met December 16 at the home of Mrs. J. B. Bren die with eight members pres ent. Mrs. Ralph Cassada, the new president, presided. Christ mas carols were sung and the members fixed, baskets and boxes of fruit and candy for the elderly and sick in the community. Each member brought a covered dish for lunch. After lunch, some of the members made cookies for the "Testing Tea" held Satur day at the Agricultural Build fhg. The next meeting will be held at the home of Mrs. Louie Cochran. I ? ? ? . Yule Event Hie Ridgecrest Home Dem onstration Club held its Christ mas meeting Tuesday, Decem ber 13, at the home of Mrs. Jess Thompson with 11 mem bers present aod one new member, Miss Dolly Thomp son. The moVning part of the program was a business meet ing. The devotional was given by Mis. Jeter Higdon and Mrs. Elsie Smith led in prayer. The grovp discussed the new cook book published by the county clubs. Mrs. Jeter Higdon, gave a garden report and Mrs. John Smith gave a book report. The group decided to meet at Mrs. Jess Thompson's again on Frioay night before Christ mas to prepare fruit boskets for shut-ins. The club project leaders and club comm.ttec chairmen were named for the coming year. Project leaders are: Poods and Nutrition.
