cafeteria. About 45 persons at
tended. The prospective mem
bers came dressed in "home
made" styles of Laitin clothing.
Soon they learned lhait they
were to wear their costumes to
school and were to "pay hom
age" to their "superiors" (old
members.) Afterwards, games
were played and refreshments
of punch, cookies, cake, and
cupcakes were served.
The Spanish Club's chocolate
candy has arrived. The club
is divided into two se'.ling
teams, the captain of one be
ing Martha Angel, the captain
of the other Robert Vinson.
The Spanish Club recently
put up a bulletin board for the
guidance department. The cen
tral idea was "Opportunities In
Foreign Languages." In the
center of the board, which was
covered with white crepe paper
with a ruffled red border, was
a large globe. Around this were
the following fields, each hav
ing a fit silhouette: ministry ,
