EDGENOORE HEIGHTS The Finest Peach Prospect in the World, and That is Saying Something The KnolJwood Corporation has started on the development of its big tract of land adjoining Southern Pines, and on the east side of the Seaboard railroad. More roads are to be built to open this property in the most approved shape, orchards will be planted, and everything done to make a number of the most modern and complete small peach orchards in the Sandhills. Other plans will be worked out, some for home sites, some of other sites to suit prospective purchasers. Men of means and faith in Moore county have undertaken this development with the intention of making Edgemoore the most desirable peach growing community on this big round earth. Francis Deaton is already on the ground studying the additional road locations, and you know after driving the new road between Southern Pines and Pinehurst that Deaton located that he is thirty-third degree member of the road engineers. He also located the new road from Manly and Southern Pines to the Lakeview road below James Swett’s new place. He has an absolutely free hand to put roads where he, thinks they are needed, and you know he knows. Frank Buchan has the.management of the new development. Frank has been pretty active in development in this^section, and he has commenced to move things on the new property. Because people will have to find home sites and orchard sites, and lands for other uses the Knollwood directors will sell acreage on the east side of the railroad. Plans will be ready shortly for inspection when the early birds will be invited to see Frank Buchan who knows more about the property than any body else. He will soon have an office in the new building at Southern Pines. KNOLLWOOD If |IIIIIIIIHHg|»IIIHIIIIIIIIIlffi][
