Rogers returned Monday from Fayetteville, where he visited his sister. Miss Mary Rogers. Mr. and Mrs. A. K. Thompson spent Sun day with Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Thompson at Jonesboro. Mr. T. F. Cameron with his mother Mrs. J. B. Cameron visited relatives at Lemon Springs a day of last week. • Mr. J. Me. F. Baker went over to Carth age on business Monday. Mr. Martin Cameron, who has been liv ing on Mr. G. S. Cole’s farm, has moved to the Alton Cole farm. Mr. and Mrs. Turner Cameron, of Cam eron Route 3, spent the week-end -with Mr. and Mrs. M. D. Shaw. Messrs. Robert and Elbert Eades have returned to their home at Siloam, after spending a week with friends here. Mrs. Elizabeth Thompson is spending sometime with her daughter, Mrs. W. D. MacRaney, of Lobelia. Mr. and Mrs. William Graham and sis ters, Misses Kate and Eva, spent Sunday with relatives near Lemon Springs. Mrs. Sallie MePerson who has been vis iting her daughters, Mrs. Bronson, of Rocky Mount, and Mrs. Jernigan, of Dunn, for the past month, is expected home this week. Aunt Polly Goins died Saturday after a few days illness and was buried at the Johnson Cemetery on Sunday. * Mr. J. W. Atkinson, of Southern Pines, and Mrs. Josie McRaney, were quietly married Wednesday at the home of the bride’s sister, Mrs. Robert Patterson, Wil mington, N. C., they have the best wishes of their many friends on the voyage down the sea of matrimony. Mr. Carl Thompson spent the week-end with a friend in Winston-Salem. Mr. Kimball, of Vass, has rented the farm of Mr. A. C. Rogers. Mrs. M. D. Shaw, Mr. Alton Shaw and sister. Miss Ethel, visited relatives near Carthage one day last week. Mr. J. B. Muse and family expect to Mr. Samuel Whitaker, who lived on the i leave Wednesday for Florida to visit Mrs. Alton Cole farm, has moved to the farm j Muse’s people, of Mr. G. S. Cole. Mr. Raymond Thomas and sister. Miss Gladys, have returned to the Farm Life School at Eureka after spending a few weeks at home. Mr. Charles Thompson returned to his home in Dunn after spending last week end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Thompson. Mr. J. A.
