Pacr« Tt#c THE PILOT Friday, Jialy 29, 1927. Sell Your Tobacco In The Home Markets Tobacco harvest is now in progress in the Sandhills and a crop is coming off that was never before equalled in this section in either quantity or quality. Now more than ever before the grower is concerned in marketing his tobacco where he gets the best prices. It has been realized that the tobacco of this neighborhood is of a peculiarly excellent type, and that it brings more money when sold as Moore County bright tobacco, and in order to have it sold for what it is instead of going elsewhere and mixing with other tobacco and losing its iden tity and selling for less money, the business men of this section have inaugurated a move ment to have Moore County bright leaf, which includes that of the immediate vicinity in the other adjoining counties, sold in the home ma rkets here. The reasons are better prices paid in the home markets for this leaf. More convenient to get your tobacco to the markets. You can be on hand and see every sale. The big buyers are represented here by salaried men who are actual employes. You can get your leaf to the markets in better shape and with greater ease. Selling your tobacco in the home markets is backed by the business men, and by the bankers of this district. The Aberdeen Commercial and Agricultural Club has conferred with all the home bankers in: Aberdeen Carthage Sanford Southern Pines Vass Raeford Pinehurst and they heartily endorse the idea of selling your to bacco on the home markets and also urge the farmers to come in and talk it over with them before hauling any of their tobacco away to other markets. X « , P?” ^ make the mistake of talcmg yo ur tobacco to any other market until you have talked with your local warehousemen, or until you have talked with your banker and your local business men. The tobacco situation is excellent this season, and you will get more money on your local markets than any place else.
