I stand at the door and knock—If any man hear “My Voice” and open the door I will come in to him and will sup with him, and he with me. Rev. 3:20. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit Saith. Some have an ear to hear but fail to open the door of their heart—^therefore Jesus is shut out from supping with them. So few are heeding the call to pure- fy themselves even as He is pure. This we believe is the last call. “We know that when He shall appear we shall be like Him—^for we shall see Him as He is and every man that hath this hope—purefieth himself: even as He (Jesus) is pure.” ISt. John 3:2:3. Listen! Have we ever stopped to think how pure Jesus was in Spirit, Soul, and body, and have we ever looked up with this hope fixed and settled in our hearts that we are to be preserved blameless— Spirit soul and body—not till death— for there is no death in Jesus. He is life—and when we are preserved in Him we will have Hs life in us, not only in our souls—which is the common salvation for all—^but in our Spirits Souls and bodies, provided we meet the conditions and answer the call. The first call is a broad call. Look unto Me all ye ends of the earth— and he ye saved. This is the 30 fold —the Star crowd. The next call is to present our bodis a living sacri fice Holy. The last call is to be pre served blameless, Spirit, Soul, and body. Faithful is He that calleth you, who also will do it.” If you will obey. To obey is better than to sac- rafice—^but the sacrafice is to come first. The word says to present our bodies a living sacrafice—which is only a reasonable service—and be not conformed to this world, but to be transformed by the renewing of our minds that we may prove what is that good, and acceptable and per fect Will of God. Some one has said that^the “good” was an enemy of the best. And we believe it. It is good to know our sins are all for given. Then it is acceptable with God to present to Him our bodies as living sacrifices. But the perfecfc Will of God is to be preserved blame less. Spirit soul and body. This is the one hundred fold crowd. The high calling. To reach this mark we must leave the first principals and go on to perfection. Heb. 0: 1., bbut how are to do this—^by purefying ourselves even as He is pure—Jesus is pure and Holy blameless and harmless-^ —the Son of God! Did he not leave us an example that we should fol low in His steps. Let’s consider His steps. “He went about doing good. He had no earthly home—or family that He could call His own. He was pure and seperate from sinners. He was pure from all the curse—and said He had redeemed us from the (Please turn to Page 3) H n ww H OBEDIENCE I am writing a call—^and t may be the last call “to all those who have ::xu:uu:nmu::u:::»xu::um: it Here’s f the Proof of Quality Let us show you this simple test. Two cords of exactly the same length— one Goodyear-developed and Good year-patented SUPERTWIST, the other the usual standard cord—are placed on these machines. Exactly the same amount of strain is given both — then released. W hat happens? SUPERTWIST snaps back to its original tauntness like a rubber band. The other cord sags—remains inert. It has lost its spring. You see the comparative tension illustrated in the foreground. We start again in the same way—fresh SUPERTWIST cord, fresh cord of the usual standard — both the same length. The strain is applied —^increased. SNAP! the The shaded portioii in this croBS- section oi a tire shows the cord- fabric which is the streacth and foundation of any caaing. In Goodyear tires this fabric is made of patented Supertwiat cords. Only Goodyear uses Snpertwist. ordinary cord breaks, while SUPER TWIST remains intact. That’s what happened on the machine in the back ground. There’s the proof of SUPERTWIST’S superiority before your eyes. Goodyear Tires, made of SU PERTWIST, stretch and re cover under road shocks. Tires made of ordinary cord lack this resiliency and react as you have just seen. The elesticity—the durability of SUPERTWIST has elimi nated blowouts and similar That’s why we sell Good years — because we know they will stand the gaff of hard service, yet cost no more. Come in soon. It will be a pleasure to perform this in teresting test for you. Brewer Service Station SOUTHERN PINES, N. C.
