Xoday you demand infinitely more in your automobile than you did five years ago. In order to satisfy you, Oakland now builds the All-American Six and the Pontiac Six with greater care than ever before* Oakland and Pontiac Sixes are built in fac tories constructed almost entirely within the past two years. Oakland is constantly discarding and replac ing equipment, content to use oi^y the very newest, most accurate designs. Oakland in spection standards are second to none. Wouldn’t you prefer a car built in the world’s most modern automobile plant with standards of precision such as Oakland employs. TaUy97 At Knoliwood He^ts Before leaving' with his family for a vacation in the North Dr. Mud- gett told Talbot Johnson to put a red ring on the Knoliwood map around Location 419, This adjoins Jim and Jack Boyd and Sylves ter of the National City Bank of New York. It is on Fairway drive, just off the Midland road, and touches Ralph Page. Edgemoore Cuts In. OAKLAND Dr. Mudgett is an analytical individual who looks into values before he puts much money any place, and he also calculates the other features of an investment. And he has picked a section that is in the hands of representative men of the coun try. Sylvester, Braselton, Harper, Stutts and Sledge, Grossett, Dr. Kelvin, Cream er, Turner, etc. FINE TYPE OF HOUSES The houses on the ridge are now reaching the point where they show what they are to be. The Olmstead house is already roofed and the walls finished. It is a hand some house on a good location. The Pu- shee house is a typical New England homey place that will always be attrac tive. The Johnson house is an interest ing bit of creation of the architect, and fits the hill where it is set. The Van Keuren house shows a good plan, but like the Vail House is not yet far enough along to tell what it will develop. All are large, roomy, modem and pleasing in appear ance. While Knoliwood Heights has been running away with itself Edge- ' moore, the Knoliwood possessions east of the railroad have been moving quietly, but this week just to let folks know that the world is two or three miles wide Sam Richardson and Frank Buchan var ied the tune by negotiating the sale to James S. Wadsworth, of Geneseo, N. Y., of the four tracts No. 68, 69, 70 and 73, containing 15.62 acres. This property is on the Willis Young road just out of Southern Pines and joining Weymouth.
