The meeting was presided over by John McLauchlin, clerk of the Union | sessions, who paid high tribute to Mr. Lawrence. Those present were Misses Pauline Blue, Edna Earle Richardson, Gladys Causey, Dorothy Cole, Wilma Morrison, Marjorie Coore, Hazel Coore, Margaret Gunter and Rebecca Gardner; Connor Cole, Bill Coore, Leonard and Refus Mor rison, Atlas, Herbert and Harold Eastwood and Coker Blue. Hiram and Alma Mclnnis spent Monday in Kinords, S. C., visiting Ralph Wallace who returned with them for a few days’ visit. Mrs. G. H. Thompson and little son G. H., Jr., and Willie Thompson of Hillsboro visited Mr. and Mrs. j. O. Blue Sunday. Little Miss Caro lyn Thompson, Mrs. J. O. Blue and little daughter Ruth returned home with them for a short visit.
