torium on Saturday evening for the
annual alumni banquet, an event
eagerly anticipated from one year to
the next by former students of this
popular iustitntlon.
The banquet table was attractively
decorated for the occasion, a color
scheme of pink and green being used

State Department of Revenue,
John Thomas, will be in the office
of the Register of Deeds in Car
thage tomorrow, Saturday, and
Monday for the purpose of assit-
ing taxpayers in filing their State
income tax returns.
If you are an unmarried person
and have an income of ipi,000
during the year 1934, or a married
person and had an income of $2,-
000, you should file a return with
,.the State Revenue Department on
