Southern Pines and Aberdeen, North Carolina Page Thrc* Second Arrest Made in Carraway Murder Sheriff Goes to Canada For Half-Breed Indian.—May Be NTried at Special Term Upon receipt of a telegram from P. A. Piuze, director of the Quebcc Provincial Police, bearing news of the arrest of Jean Baptiste Caron, half-breed Indian wanted here in con nection with the murder of J. B. Car raway near Southern Pines last Au gust, Sheriff C. J. McDonald and Deputy Sheriff Herman H. Grimm left for Montreal late Friday night to bring back Caron. Robert Svendscn, Swedish youth now' being held in the county jail as a participant in the crime, is re ported as being greatly pleased over the capture of Caron. Svendsen sinco his arrest has done everything pos sible to help officers in the solution of the crime and it was through his help that the real name of Caron was learned.
