THE PILOT, Southern Pines and Aberdeen, North Carolina Page Sev« Faculty and Students Memorialize Dr. Prizer Adopt Resolutions of Deep Loss of “Wise Counsel” and “In fectious Optimism” The Week in Carthage The following resolutions have been adopted by the faculty and student body of the Southern Pines School: “Whereas, God in his infinite wis dom has called from us our loyal and beloved friend, Dr. EJdward Levis Prizer. “Therefore, be it Resolved: “That, in his passing the faculty and student body have lost one whose wise counsel led us through numer ous difficult decisions, whose infec tious optimism encouraged us and whose generous material support en abled us to carry through worthwhile iichool activities. “Resolved, that the faculty and student body express especial appre- ciaiton for the inspiration given by the dignity of Dr, Prizer's presence at our school during our work and our play. “Resolved, that those of us left are the better for having known him. “Resolved, that we extend our as surance of sympathy to each mem ber of his family." The I home was beautifully decorated with quantities of late summer flowers Bridge was played at seven tables. High score prize was awarded Mrs. Eldon Adams, and Mrs. Joe Allen received the traveller’s prize. The hostess served a salad course with coffee to the following guests; Mrs. Eldon Adams, Mrs. U. L.
