Misg Virginia Little returned to her home here on Monday after spending the summer in the uprth. A. G. Wallace returned to his home Saturday night after spend ing the past month visiting relatives in Pennsylvania. Mrs. J. H. Suttenfield and Mrs. Robert Stewart attended the Union Church homecoming on Sunday. The 12th Masonic District ban quet was held in Southern Pines at the Country Club on Tuesday night. All Masons from Pinebluff and Sil ver Springs attended the banquet. Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Swan and daughter Lucy have returned to their cottage to spend the winter af ter •' summer in Sherburne, N. Y. Mrs. Mattie Smithers and Miss Lorrnine Rarden of Valley Forge Station, Ky., are visiting Mr. and Mrs. Joe Rarden. Mrs. Smithers is to remain through the winter. Miss Florance Fowle arrived in town last week from Minneapolis to spend some time. On Sunday afternoon the Pinebluft members of the Aberdeen Presbyter ian Church attended the meeting of the Ministers Annuity Fund in Rae- ford. Dr. Sweet of Louisville, Ky. and Dr. Millie of Charlotte were guest speakers.
