Bruce Cameron of Manley, who Introduced Miss Nell Simons and Miss Reynolds of Southern Pines. The 1941 law has increased the fee to 75c. This amount will be credited on payment of your dog- tax when certificate is presented to Tax Collector. If own er fails to have dog vaccinated at scheduled time and place, he will be required to pay an additional sum of 75c as penalty. The act further provides that if the dog is found without a metal tag, showing the law has not been complied with, and if the owner cannot be found with reasonable diligence, it will be lawful to destroy such dog. Failure to comply with the requirements of this law is a misdemeanor and a fine of not less than $10.00 or more than $50.00 or imprisonment not less than ten or more than thirty days at the discretion of the Court may be imposed.
