Military Funeral
For Dr. McDuffie
Former Moore County Man
Dies in Maryland; Services

Funeral services with full military
honors were conducted last Sunday
at Bensalem Presbyterian Church for
Dr. C. R. McDuffie who died Septem
ber 4 at his home in Cumberland, Md.
Dr. McDuffie, who made his home in
Moore County for many years before
moving to Maryland, had been in ill
health for several months.
Dr. McDuffie served as Chaplain of
:he American Legion Post in Cumber
land and was active in all Legion af
fairs. The bugler from his home Post
accompanied the body to Hemp and
took part in the military services.
