OFFICERS GET PROMOTED
Among 18 army officers with the
rank of Major, stationed at Fort
Bragg, who last week were promot
ed to the temporary rank of Lieuten
ant Colonel were Lt. Col. R. M. Wicks,
79th Field Artillery, of Southern
Pines; Lt. Col. Frank J. Cunningham,
34th Coast Artillery Brigade of
Southern Pines; and Lt. Col. John
Hinton, Headquarters, 9th Division
Artillery, of Pinehurst.
