H. Currie, trustee, to execute deeds for such lands. Those rescinded wero: Order of Aug. 4 authorizing deed made to K. W. Holly Christmtis Greens Southern Pines Nursery Roof Fire Quickly Extinguished Monday A roof file on a house on New York avenue in West Southern Pines brought out the Southern Pines P'ire Department at 9:27 o'clock Monday morning to get the fire quickly under control, with little damage. The house, belonging to Vera Hasty, is rented by Adeline Dowd. Firemen paid the fire apparently started by a spark from the chimney on the wood en shingles. BKOTHKK OF .MRS. A, Moore of Southern Pines, died last Fiiday night m a Rocky Mount 'lospitnl, foll.iwing a short illness. He was 38 years old. Former prosecuting attorney in the Williamston Recor;ler’s Court, Mr. Coburn was iudge of the court at the time of his death. He studied at the Univerp'ty of North Carolina and at Wake Forest. His sister, Mrs. Moore, accompanied by Mr. Moore, attended funeral .services, held Sunday. men in this huge camp. Believed to be one of the youngest sergeant ma- .lors in the nation.
