PLANT Dry Process Chemically Delintcd Select Cotton Seed First Year Registered Stock Gravity Graded, Ceresan Treated Costs Less Per Acre to Plant. Here’s why you can’t afford not to plant SELECT Cottonseed; SELECT Cottonseed costs less per acre to plant because it is planted three to five seeds per hill, 12 to 24 inches apart, requiring only 8 to 10 pounds of seed per acre. Hill planting elimi nates cotton chopping expense, and provides young cotton plants with the circulating air, moisture and sunshine they must have to thrive. Plant and Plow Same Week. Many farmers who plant SELECT Cottonseed plow them out, seven or eight days after planting. This gives you an idea how fast these pure, heavyweight disinfected SELECT Cottonseeds germinate and grow off. Early Planting Unnecessary. Chemically de- linted SELECT Cottonseed grows off so quickly you can wait for growing weather and plant without risking injury to seed from frost or cold weather. .
