TRADE ASSH , INC. fflFATKtSte LAKOLINA Charles Laughton, of the mas sive figure and ponderous cheek, has one of the most engaging roles in his long and impressive acting career in the delightful comedy, “Hc-bson’s Choice,” con tinuing at the Carolina Theatre this Friday and Saturday, August 27, 28, at 8:15 p. m., with a Satur day matinee at 3. “Hobson’s Choice” means that there is really no choice at all and that is the position in which Laughton fihds himself with respafct to his three extremely romantic daughters in this up- roarc-us comedy. Supported by John Mills and a newcomer, Brenda de Banzie, Laughton has the fattest role since memorable “Henry VlII.” In the language of the critic of the N. Y. Herald Tribune, the film is “endlessly inventive and highly entertaining, as imagina tive, as touching and as pictur esque as it is continuously funny.” first of September. ‘Maison Henri’ To Open September 4 ABERDEEN THEATRE Giant WIDE Screen "Pictures As They Should Be Seen" FRIDAY NIGHT 7:15 & 9:15 "The Big Heat" Glenn Ford - Gloria Grahame 1.3:00 SATURDAY Double Feature Sta^fi 'North of the t Bdes' "Wild Bill" Ehr pt also— "The Limping Man" Lloyd Bridgers Send Contributions To ABERDEEN W.
