Listed by the hospital among the members of the class of 1957 are Fay Matthews and Marie Wicker of Aberdeen and Jean nette Van Boskerck of Pinebluff. Miss Wicker is one of the schol arship winners in the Sandhills Veterans Association nurse train ing program. The new students comprise the largest class ever admitted in the 59-year history of Watts Hospital whose (School of nursing is second oldest in the state. Classes were to begin Thurs day, after registration on Mon day and two days of orientation to acquairyt students with the hos pital campus, the community and each other. Other girls in the class from this area of the state are Peggy Jane McLendon and Zelda Till man, of Sanford, and Peggy Blair and Alice Strickland, of Dunn. Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Wagstaff, their daughter Deborah and small son, Michael, who have been oc cupying an apartment in the Cloverleaf on a visit with Mr. Wagstaff’s mother, Mrs. Donald Carr, leave today for a week at EUinor Village, Florida, before proceeding to New York State, where they will make their home. Hobson house for a month, have moved to “Uplands” on Midland Road. Airman 3 c Kenneth McCrim mon has just arrived from Fran cis E. Warren Air Force Base in Wyoming and is spending a 15- day leave with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John McCrimmon, prio^r to being stationed on Long Is land. Woodcock, Jr. Miss Joan Meanor returned to City Memorial Hospital, Winston- Salem, on Sunday after spending three weeks with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. I. L. Meanor. Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Mather and children, Phillip, Jr., and Elizabeth, and Herbert Thomas spent the weekend at Crescent Beach. Mr. and Mrs. Lacy Sessoms ac companied their son Marion to Chapel Hill, where he will be a member of the junior class. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Porter of Wilmington were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. W.
