Nominations were received at the semi-monthly meeting held last Friday night at the Country Club, when the nominating com mittee made its report, but nomi nations are being held open until the May 11 meeting. In lieu of a program at the meeting last week, members of the club bagged hght bulbs for the annual bulb sale being held I this week. The sale concludes to night (Thursday). Elsesser-Biooks Palm Beach, Fla., will be the home of Mr. and Mrs. Valentine Elsesser who were married in her home in Pinebluff Saturday, April 28, at 8 p. m. The bride, the former Mrs. Catherine W. Brooks, was given in marriage by her son, Tyler J. Brooks of Savannah, Ga. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. James W. Hamilton. The bride’s dress was of pink lace and satin; Her bouquet was of pink roses with a center cor sage of white orchids. The matron of honor was Mrs. Tyler J. Brooks of Savannah, Ga. About 25 including members of the choir, their husbands, wives and children and the Rev. and Mrs. Ray Gosnell and daughter Ava went on the outing.
