Johnson, amounted to $85.00. The
figure is fully expected to reach
or surpass Aberdeen’s total
last year, ($113.78) when all re
turns are in. '
Pinehurst street sales amount
ed to $77.00 as reported by Mrs.
A. P. Thompson and JMrs. Hugh
Carter, in charge there. Again, to
judge by last year’s total of
$174.00, largely from special gifts
not yet received, Pinehurst
should top the previous record.
Pinebluff carried along about
as last year with a total to date of
$30.56, Mrs. Walter MacNeille re
ported.
Community Chests in both
Robbins and West End are inclu
ding the work in their budget for
this year; checks, not yet receiv
ed, will be reported next week.
From Parkwood, came a check
for $5.00, with returns from High-
falls, and Glendon not yet an
nounced.
The town of Vass did not com
plete the drive Saturday. Under
the auspices of the Lions Clu’o,
the sa-e will continue for several
days, according to Mr. Jack Mor
gan who has it in charge.
