The party was given for two of her classmates, Katie Butler and Dianne Adams, as a farewell ges ture. Katie will spend the winter in Pleasantville, N. Y. with her family and Dianne will be with her parents in Hartsville, S'. C. After cooking their supper in the backyard, games were en joyed in the newly painted and decorated basement playroom. Clara’s guests included Katie and Dianne, Jeanie Butler and Alice Shamburger, Rodney Pleasants, Joe Hiatt, Francis Dwight and Bob Boswell. Howard Family of Twenty Together For Picnic Dinner Mr. and Mrs. M. L. Howard had the pleasure of having their entire family together Sunday for the first time since their grandchil dren have reached the number of a round dozen. The group went to Morrow Mountain, near Albe marle, where they enjoyed a pic nic dinner. Their family includes: Mr. and Mrs. Paul J. Poole, vocalist, who sang “Through the Years,” .“Oh, Perfect Love” and as a benediction, “The Lord s Pray- ty of North Carolina. Richmond (Hazel Kelley) and her three children, Jim, Tom and Joan as her guests at her home on East Indiana avenue. Mr. Richmond arrived later to accompany his family back to heir home in Los Angeles, Calif., where he is an inventor and manufacturer of Door-King, the radio controlled garage door. Enroute to the west coast, they stopped in Baltimore for a day with Mrs. Richmond’s sister, Mrs. Samuel W. Cox and Capt. Cox.
