Dunlap, Jr. of Bernardsville, N. J. and grandson of the late G. T. Dunlap of Pine- hurst. The young couple stopped off in Pinehurst briefly this week en route to Princeton, N. J. where they will live while Mr Dunlap completes his senior year at Princeton University. Entertain Mr. and Mrs. Denison K. Bul- lens entertained at a small cock tail party Sunday afternoon at Homewood for Ernest L. Ives .who was the weekend guest of Mr. and Mrs. Livingston L. Bid dle, II. Billy G. McKenzie and Bevins Cameron were co-hosts last Thursday evening at the former’s home at a bachelor dinner for Robert Viall, whose marriage to Miss Matel Royal took place Sunday afternoon at Piney Green Baptist church in Rose boro. Orr of Piqua, Ohio has leased, through Biddle & Company, Mrs. Francis Ray’s cottage' on Midland Road for a period of two nAonths from Octo ber 1st, during which time, Mrs. Ray is planning a visit to Japan with her son who is stationed there. Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Creem and their three children are ex pected back soon from their sum mer place at Alexandria Bay, N. Y. Weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs A P. Thomnson were her nieces. Mrs. John Miller and Mrs. Joseph Taylor and the latter’s two sons, Les and Jimmie, all of Lynchburg, Va. Mrs. Holbrook Platt and her mother, Mrs. Holbrook plan to move into their new home on Cherokee, Road next week. Lt James E. Harrington, Jr. and Lt. Ralph L. Homer who spent two weeks at summer en campment at Camp Stewart, Ga. returned to their homes last weekend. Mrs. Leonard Whitesell return ed home last weekend after spending the past week with her parents in Oxford. Miss Nanxftr Campbell of Ashe ville spent this week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Campbell. Mrs. Stephen Davis and her daughter. Miss Katherine Davis are visiting relatives in SOuth Carolina. Mr. and Mrs. William Sheeler have returned to Pinehurst and are agcdn in residence at their apartment on Short Road. Albert S. 'Tufts and Eugene McDonald participated in a skeet shoot in High Point Sunday and will be in Greensboro for the State Shoot which is being held there this weekend. Mrs. A. J. Clow has left for an extended stay at Luddington, Mich. Howard Stewart returns next week from The Stockton at Sea Girt, N. J. and will join his famj- ily here. Richard “Mack” Hamor was one of two delegates chosen to irepresenlt hiis fraternity", PKA, Davidson college chapter, in a meeting at Mexico City where he will spend two weeks, returning September 9th. Donald Miller got back this week from Saratoga, N. Y. and is with his family on Everett Road. . , Miss Anne Hamor is home from summer school at Greens- rboro, and is' with , her mother, Mrs. R. A. Hamor. Mr. and Mrs. L. Paget Rigby have returned to Primrose Cot tage after a stay at the Farming- ton Country Club in Charlottes ville, Va. They have as their guests this week, their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. George W. Kraus and children, Barbara Ann, George and Carol of Tarrytown, N. Y.
