Jr» 18, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Doss, Route 3, Carthage, is par ticipating in the resupply of iso lated radar stations of the “DEW line” in the Eastern Arctic. The “DEW (Distant Early Wlarning) line” is designed to provide warning against the pos sibility of a transpolar air at tack. Doss is helping discharge car go from ships to stations extend ing across the Arctic rim. In the Army since October, 1955, he is regularly assigned to the 571st Transportation Company at Fort Eustis, Va.
