THAILAND AIR OFFICERS, being conducted
on a tour of U.S. military installations by the
Air Force, stopped in Southern Pines this week
for a visit at the Air-Ground Operations School.

Air Chief Marshal Vudhakas,
a graduate of the Thailand Mili
tary Academy in 1927, is Deputy
Minister of Education in Thai
land.
Air Vice Marshal Suriya, who
was a student at the Air-Ground
Operations School here in Au
gust, 1953, attended Lafayette
College and graduated from the
U. S. Military Academy in 1937.
Subsequently he completed fly
ing training at Randolph and
Kelly AFB in 1938, and later
graduated from the U. S. Air
Command and Staff School in
1952.
Group Captain Sundarakul, a
graduate of the University of
Washington, served in the office
of Strategic Service from 1943 to
1946.

Observe 70th Year
