North Carolina Page SEVENTEEN Betty Lowdermilk Nominated For State FHA Office Betty Jo Lowdermilk of South ern Pines has been nominated by the Moore County chapter of the Future Homemakers of America as a nominee for parliamentarian of the state group following a reg ular meeting of the Moore chapter Monday night. Her campaign, under the direc tion of Arden Fobes of Southern Pines, will run up to the district meeting, which will be held in Hamlet October 13. Two other meetings of the FHA have recently been held, an offi cers workshop in West End, and a fall rally at Carthage. A recent called meeting resulted in, the election of a number of chapter mothers, including Mrs. Walter Harper, Mrs. Z. V. Tolar, Revival Services Are Scheduled At Culdee The Rev. Denver Blevins, New Bern Presbyterian minister, will conduct a series of revival serv ices at Culdee Presbyterian Church near Pinehurst, beginning Sunday at 7:30 p.m., it was an nounced today by the Rev. J .T. Young, Jr., pastor. The services, to which the pub lic has been invited, will be held nightly through Friday.
