Twelve members responded to

joined, Mrs. Grady Caddell and
Mrs. J. B. Spivey.
New yearbooks were distribu

leaders for the year were named.
Miss Flora McDonald, home

During the social hour, draw

and Mrs. Mollie Little and Mrs.
C. H. Muse were winers. They
will bring gifts for next month’s

Rainbow Club
’The Rainbow Home Demon
stration Club climaxed its pro
gram! of work for 1956 with a
covered dish supper and Christ
mas party at the Vass Commu
nity house. Mrs. Charles Gseh-
wind, president, and Mrs. R. L.
Oldham, both of Vass, served as
hostesses.
The assembly room was deco
rated in the Christmas motif,
with a lighted tree, miantel and
table arrangements, and a fire
glowed in the fireplace.
With Mrs. Thomas Wolfe at
the piano, all joined in singing a
favorite Christmas carol, which
was followed by Scripture read
ing and prayer by Mrs. A. C.
BaUey.
After full justice had been
done to the supper, the group re
turned to their places around the
fireplace for games and a contest.
Later, to the accompaniment of
bells, Santa Claus arrived to dis
tribute gifts from under the tree.
As these were opened, the iden
tity of “secret pals” was reveal
ed. Shut-in friends were rem
embered with gifts. After an ex
change of holiday good wishes,
all 4eparted.—My Mrs. A. C.
