at 7:30 p. m. next Tuesday at the
home of Mrs. Albert R. Graham.

children to attend the church
services a nursery is now open
at the Methodist Church each
Sunday, with competent attend
ants on hand to care for the
babies. Mrs. A. G. Edwards, Jr.,
is in charge and she is being as
sisted by the pastor’s wife, Mrs.

ers in the church.

home after spending several days
in Florida. His sister. Miss Mary

is engaged in research work at
the University of Virginia.
Mrs. Thomas WoUe came home
Saturday from Moore County
Hospital, where she had been l
patient for several days. She is
reported to have rheumatic fever
and will have to take it easy for a
while. Karen, who is in school, is
at home with her parents but
the two younger children are
with their grandparents in Bur
lington.
Mr. and Mrs. Lacy McRae and
daughter, Joanne, spent last
weekend in Greensboro with
friends.
Mrs. T. L. McNair visited her
nephew, Luther McPherson of
Cameron, at Moore County Hos
pital Monday. He is getting along
well.
Mrs. Allen 'Thompson and chil
dren, Debby and Dennis, return
ed home to Crossnore last Friday
after a week’s visit. Mrs. Thomp
son’s mother, Mrs. Tom Baker
of Sanford, went home With
them.
Relatives here have learned
that Harry Laubscher of San
ford, who had been at home only
a few days since he underwent
surgery early in January, was re
moved to the Veterans Hospital
in Durham last Saturday for
further treatment.
Miss Kay Keith, who is taking
a business course in Raleigh,
spent the weekend with her pa
rents, Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Keith.
