WSCS To Meet The Methodist Woman’s Socie ty of Christian Service will meet at 7:30 p. m. next Tuesday at the home of Mrs. Albert R. Graham. Nursery To allow mothers of young children to attend the church services a nursery is now open at the Methodist Church each Sunday, with competent attend ants on hand to care for the babies. Mrs. A. G. Edwards, Jr., is in charge and she is being as sisted by the pastor’s wife, Mrs. Ijames Ebkridge, Mlrs. .James Hudson, and other young moth ers in the church. Debbie McGill Honored Honoring her granddaughter, Debbie McGill, on her fifth birth day, Mrs. D. H. McGill, assisted by Debbie’s mother, Mrs. Allen liiompson of Crossnore, enter tained a large group of children at the community house last Fri day afternoon. Party hats, masks and horns added to the merriment as the Children played informaUy, and they were interested to see the honoree open her gifts. A large cake decorated in pink and green held a place of prominence on the refreshment table, and there were cup cakes and ice cream.
