Junior-Senior Banquet
"April Showers” was the
theme when the Junior Class of
Vass-Lakeview School entertain
ed the seniors last Friday night
at the annual class banquet.
Mr. Vann’s 10th grade room,
where the festivities took place,
was effectively decorated for the
occasion. Senior colors of laven
der and white were featured on
the table at which Senior Class
officers and special guests were
^ated, and spring blossomed out
in her profusioh of blooms and
colors elsewhere. Candles and
nut baskets with parasols added
to the attractiveness of the tables.

was enjoyed: Roger Gibbs, glee
club director, sang two solos;
guests were recognized by Danny
Cameron; juniors sang two
songs; Reba WUlard of that class
sang a stanza of “April Showers”
with the crowd joining in the
chorus, and W. E. Gladstone pre
sented a skit.
