Whitlock was host ess to the members of the Sand- 'hill Book Club in her home on North Poplar Street Friday after noon. The president, Mrs. N. A. Pleasants, presided over a routine business session, alter which Mrs. Ralph Leach presented the program. The hostess served a sweet course with iced tea at the conclusion of the meeting.
