Southern Pines OX 2-8775 Those who were able to squeeze into the Mid Pines Club where the sessions were held came out again stepping high, w'hile folks on the street and in the countryside were visibly en couraged by the sight of so many energetic, intelligent, ' obviously public-spirited leaders of indus try, science and government, with the accompanying state team, taking in the sights of the Sandhills. As Mayor Blue of this host town put it: “We hope you will bask in our sunshine and clear air, enjoy our golf, and have a good time,” and it was evident that they did all three and a lot more besides.
