It is a Western of stan dard design, with Glenn Ford, Van Heflin and Felicia Farr in leading roles. Ford is especially effective as a soft-spoken but brutal killer and Heflin plays a poor, drought ridden farmer who is capable of true heroism when the time demands it. Shows begin at 7:15 and 9 p. m. God Is My Partner Walter Brennen, one of the best actors Hollywood has today, plays the lead role in this movie which has received wide acclaim. Few stories which transpire in a court room ordinarily satisfy the family audience, but this one has redeeming qualifications. It tells of an action brought by two nephews against a famous and v/ealthy surgeon to restrain him in the handling of his own money on the ground that he is mentally incompetent. Brennan is cast as the old doc tor and Marion Ross is a young woman acting as the doctors le gal counsel. The movie is considered excel lent entertainment for the entire Blake, Shows are at 7:15 and 9 to Russia, nerve center of all Soviet operations, this fast-paced adventure Romance ■ reveals in realistic detail the lives and dan gers of the men who fly faster than sound. It has jet-hot thrills to match its jet-flame action and the romantic conflict between American jet ace John Wayne and Lieutenant Janet Leigh, of the Russian Air Force, is as spicy in concept as anything the screen has ever offered. The story of “Jet Pilot” begins in Alaska when a Russian jet plane lands illegally at i American air base. The com manding officers, John Wayne and Paul Fix, are startled to dis cover that the pilot is beautiful Janet Leigh, who seeks asylum to keep from being shot for dis obeying her commanding officer.
