Wade Mobley, school superin tendent, thanking the club for reupholstering the furniture in the grammar school library and inviting them to visit school and have lunch during National Edu cation Week. Various members gave committee reports and Mrs. Hobbs, treasurer, reported a bal ance of $5175 after paying all bills. A musical program followed with Gloria Cruce playirig three numbers, Brahms “Waltz in A” Palmgren’s “May Night” and for her encbre, she played Chopin’s “Prelude in C Minor.” “The Will of Augusta Nash,” was presented. Cardinal Book Club Mrs, Vann Clark was hostess to the Cardinal Book Club on Thursday evening with 12 mem bers present. Mrs. Tommy Gsch- wind, president, presided over the business session. Miss June Greer, chairman of the ways and means committee, presented a report on the recent benefit barbecue supper, noting its success.
