THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 23, 1961 THEATRE SUNRISE Walt Disney adds another clas sic to the great tales he has brought to the motion picture screen with the current release of the Technicolor feature, “Grey- friars Bobby.” The film is being shown at the Sunrise Theatre Thursday and Friday, November 23 and 24. One of the world’s immortal dog stories, “Greyfriars Bobby,” by Eleanor Atkinson, was first published in 1912 and has gone through innumerable printings to become an international fiction classic. Hero of the appealing and color ful story is a little Skye terrier who, after his master died, kept a 14-year vigil at his grave. Produced at actual locales in Edinburgh, Scotland, the film stap Donald Crisp, Laurence, Nai- smith, Alexander Mackenzie, and Kay Walsh. Don Chaffey directed for Buena Vista release. He approved a consent judg ment of $2,500 plus $1,108.21 med ical and hospital costs, costs of action and $650 in attorneys’ fees to be paid by the defendants in the civil suit Norman M. Calcutt by next friend Ada R. Calcutt (his mother) vs. T. R. Johnson and Franklin Floyd Johnson. Young Calcstt, 19, was injured in an auto accident of October 4, 1959, at Gre,enville, S. C., while a passenger in a car owned by T. R. Johnson and driven by his son Franklin Floyd Johnson. The court also approved a set tlement of $4,000 to cover all in juries and damages in the suit in volving another auto accident with injuries to a minor. This was brought by John Adams VanBen- schoten, 20, by his next friend Chester W. VanBenschoten (his father) against James Bowman Poteat following a collision of November 27, 1960, near Gra ham. Out of the $4,000 the plain tiff’s father was to be reimbursed by the Clerk of the Court the amount of $487.23 which he paid medical and hospital expenses also $1,000 was to be paid in at torney’s fees.'; Airport Land Case In the civil action County of Moore vs. Rowland D.
