Frye, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Frye; Kathy Coe, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Coe; Kathy Thomas, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Thomas; and Jesse Coore, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Coore. Alumni Banquet Vass-Lakeview High School Alumni Banquet will be held May 5 in the school cafeteria. Regis tration will be held in the new gymnasium from 6-7, with dinner at 7. Mrs. Clinton Peele, secre tary, requests that all cards be returned by April 30. Quarterly Conference The fourth Quarterly Confer ence will be held at the Vass Methodist Church Thursday night at 7:30 p. m. The Rev. M. C. Dunn, district superintendent, will pre side. Study Course Scheduled The second WSCS study course will be held on Monday and Tuesday nights. May 7 and 8, in the fellowship hall of the Meth odist Church. The study topic, “The Meaning of Suffering,” will be presented by Mrs. David Moe. Attend! Sub-district Meeting The following ladies of Circle 1 of the WSCS attended the Moore-Montgomery Sub-district meeting in Star last Wednesday afternoon: Mrs. H. A. Borst, Mrs. A. G. Edwards, Sr., Mrs. Charles Gschwind, Mrs. W. A. Muse, Mrs. R. E. Bullock, and Miss Louise Leslie. Birthday Party Mrs. Marie Hinsley entertain- a number of little friends at her home Saturday afternoon honor ing her granddaughter, Donna Jean Hinsley, on her fifth birth day. Games were played and the children enjoyed refreshments of cake and ice cream. Attend Funeral Funeral services for Mrs. Cora Williams, of Robbins, mother of D.
